“Fizz for your biz” Homemade toilet bowl cleaning powder
How to make natural toilet bowl cleaner?
The John, the loo, the throne – even the crapper! We have many names for the toilet, but need just one fizzy powder to make it shine!
Ingredients
- 120g (1/2 cup) citric acid
- 285g (1 cup) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon essential oil (equal parts lemon, lavender, lemongrass and peppermint)
Tools
- Measuring cups or scale
- Teaspoon
- Mason jar
- Wooden scoop
Steps to follow
- Prepare and sterilize your equipment and workspace.
- Measure the ingredients
- Mix ingredients in an airtight container.
How to use
Place one or two teaspoons (or small scoop, using the wooden scoop) in the toilet bow.
Let fizz; wipe.

Can i leave out the oils when doing the toilet bowl cleaner.. can i store the end product in an airtight plastic bucket

You can leave out the essential oils, but please take into consideration that it will a bit less effective.
You can store it in an airtight plastic bucket, yes! As long as there is no water in it, you’re good.
