With these three recipes, you can easily make a complete DIY shaving kit from the comfort of your home, and benefit from these wonder products every time you shave.
Before you begin
For all three recipes in this DIY shaving kit, we leave the choice of essential oils and aromatic essences up to you, so that you smell exactly as you please. While you can use any aromatic essence you’d like without worry, there are some important concerns to keep in mind with essential oils. Some essential oils are dermocaustic or photosensitizing; they must be used with great caution in homemade products designed for face use or that do not rinse off (like aftershave, for example). For a complete list of photosensitizing and dermocaustic essential oils, along with guidance on how to safely use them in your recipes, please refer to our complete article on the topic.
